Flu & Autumn COVID-19 vaccinations 2026/27

Invitations to book are going out this week by text or email, with a booking link.

Flu vaccine: You may be eligible if you are:

• Aged 65 or over
• Pregnant
• A carer
• Living with someone with a weakened immune system
• Living in a long-stay care home
• Under 65 with a long-term health condition (e.g. asthma, diabetes, heart or lung disease, or a weakened immune system)

Autumn COVID-19 booster: You may be eligible if you are:

• Aged 75 or over
• Living in a care home for older adults
• Living with a significantly weakened immune system (e.g. current cancer treatment, organ transplant, certain long-term immune-suppressing medication)

Please note: being eligible for the flu vaccine does not automatically mean you're eligible for the COVID booster.

Clinics will run throughout October at Banwell Surgery and Winscombe Community Centre

If you're eligible, please look out for your text or email invitation and book as soon as possible.

Already invited: Pregnant patients and parents/carers of children aged 2-3 have already been sent their flu invitation (they're eligible from 1st September). Please book if this applies to you.
